Testimony
The Discovery Center is a place where children are free to be exactly who God created them to be. Here they learn to be confident in themselves by the encouragement, love and unique help available for their each and every need. Whatever level of the individual or area that needs attention, this program will give each child the necessary tools to succeed. Eastside’s Discovery Center is extremely unique compared to that of the public school system. They can evaluate and assess the needs of the child, learn of the slightest hint or potential problem, and start therapy immediately to keep the child from ever falling behind. This is a therapy program that is consistent in its results and needs the family to be as committed as the dedicated therapists. Results are seen slowly, yet consistently and each success is the foundation for the next step. This is an excellent program, but not an overnight solution. If you put in the effort and are committed, you will reap huge results and even more blessings.

My name is Kellie and I was one of the first students at the Discovery Center. The Center taught me the skills I needed to take on school on my own. It gave me confidence I needed and a sense of self-worth in a caring and Christian atmosphere. When I left the Discovery Center and Eastside Christian School to go to a public high school, I again experienced some anxiety but I was able to conquer my fears and graduated from high school with National Honor Society and high honor roll. I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to go to the Discovery Center.
