Math
 
Kindergarten will
Count 1-100 by 1's, 5's, 10's; recognize numbers 1-100; write numbers 1-100; shapes and patterns; sets; time (hour and half hour); money value (1, 5, 10, 25, 50 cents and $1); addition; comparisons; sorting and classifying; calendar concepts; graphing, estimating, and measuring.


First grade works with
Addition, subtraction, measurements, money, time, temperatures, simple fractions, and story problems.


Second grade curriculum teaches
Addition, subtraction, borrowing, carrying, measurement, money, time, temperatures, simple fractions, story problems, Roman numerals, graphing, and introduction to multiplication and division, place value, calendar, geometry, counting.


Third grade curriculum addresses
Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, time, measurement, fractions, equations, story problems.


Fourth grade learns
Place value, review addition and subtraction facts, multiplication to three digit multipliers, division to two digit divisors, estimation and rounding, story problems, average numbers, Arabic and Roman numerals, measurement conversions, fractions (terminology, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, change mixed numbers, reducing), factors and multiples, solving equations, recognize and read graphs, draw and read scale drawings, geometric shapes, perimeter and area.


Fifth grade curriculum teaches
Measurement in English and metric; factors and multiples, fractions and mixed numbers--adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, reducing; decimals-addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; money; graphs and coordinate geometry; temperature-Celsius and Fahrenheit; geometry; algebra; percents.


Sixth grade deals with
Operations with whole numbers and decimals; data analysis and statistics; fractions and number theory; operations with fractions; integers and rational numbers; expressions and equations; ratio, proportion and percent; geometry and measurement; probability; coordinate graphing, equations and integers.
