Curriculum Enrichment

Pumpkin Patch- Celebrating Harvest is always a treat.  Each October we bring a patch on campus for the children to explore and choose a pumpkin to take home.

Thanksgiving Feast- Being thankful and celebrating the blessing of our little ones is always such a special time.  Each November we come together as a school and feast on a turkey lunch.

Snow Day- Seasonal changes occur during the school year and our children do not always have life experiences that match what we are teaching.  To allow the children the opportunity to experience winter, we have snow delivered to our campus. The children spend the morning playing in the snow with their friends.

Community Helpers- Children are so proud of their parents and the jobs they do.  During the month of February we invite parents to visit and share the various features of their careers and the impact each type of career has on our community.

Performing Arts- Seeing the children perform on stage allows families to enjoy their children along with the chance for lifelong memories.  In December and May we allow the children an opportunity to practice being in front of a large group as they share their special musical talents.

Alphabet Cooking- Children enjoy helping and being in the kitchen.  Each week the children follow a simple recipe that correlates with our letter of the week.  This activity is very hands-on allowing each child to put together an individual cookbook, assemble their own creation, and enjoy the final product.

Share Time- Sharing promotes oral language and public speaking at the preschool level.  Children are given the opportunity to present in front of their peers, providing the time to become comfortable in this setting.
