Why Teaching:
As I was pastoring the high school ministry and praying one day, I asked myself what would it look like to do life with a group of young people daily as we learn and grow deeper with Christ. The public school system gets them every day for hours, but I only get them for 2 hours a week, if I am lucky. Therefore I stepped into teaching and I have been loving every moment of it.
Interesting Facts:
- I have been happily married to my beautiful, loving, godly wife Sophia since 2018. We share a beautiful and sweet little daughter, Kaylin who is now a year old. We hope to be growing our family in the near future.
- I actually got my first start at Eastside Christian School in 2014 as the Varsity Girls basketball coach, before stepping into teaching. Since then: varsity girls basketball (6 years) varsity girls volleyball (1 year), varsity boys basketball (2 years). Together we have 4 league championships, CIF quarterfinals run, multiple 2nd round CIF runs.
- I am currently the high school pastor at Grace Church in Fullerton in which ECS is located in. I have been the high school pastor for the past 8 years here. I have had the privilege and honor of serving the youth for the past 15 years of my life.
