Why teaching:
Some of the most impactful people in my life have been my professors. They've helped me grow and learn so much about myself. The other group of people that I've learned a lot from have been students! They teach me so much about life and my hope is to be someone who inspires them!
Interesting Facts:
- Outside of teaching bible here, I am the Jr. High Director at Redemption Hill Church in Whittier. I've been there for almost 4 years now.
- I'm a huge believer in not taking yourself too seriously. About 5 years ago I was in China where I won a boba competition and licked the Great Wall.
- I am a huge Star Wars nerd. I love Grogu (Baby Yoda) and own my own lightsaber (Darth Vader's) from Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland. I love all things Disney!
- I just recently became an uncle to twins! (Wyatt and Wesleigh). I honestly can't believe it, but it makes me so happy.
Favorite Bible Verse:
John 8:6 "But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger." Life can be hard for a lot of us and I love that our God is one who gets down in the dirt and meets us with compassion.
